"A Sun Set Too Soon" is a story of two young men meeting for one night inspired by a night Jake had in Dublin. Inspired by the life of Oscar Wilde, the song is a "folklike" tale of the Romantic (an interpretation of Jake) being shown a night of romance from a Dream (an understanding of a lovely man I met in Dublin). While the match is not meant to be, the story provides hope to any "romantic" who may feel they are not meant to be in love. Everyone has the chance for a love story, it will come to you when you least expect it.
